Team Kate Cooke is excited to be joining the Dream Adaptive fundraising effort for a fifth year of uphill laps in support of the Adaptive Recreation program that has made a lasting impression on our family. Kate's friends and family have shown up each year to help raise money in support of the year round programs that provide a safe and empowering opportunity for adaptive athletes in our local community and beyond. You gotta love that!

Team Kate Cooke will be going for as many laps as we can in ten hours this year, using the Benny Up route ( 2,100 vertical feet ) on the ski hill. We will be leaning into the human powered big vertical goal with the help of friends from around the community, great company makes the shared effort a complete joy.

The Shred-A-Thon is a key fundraiser, on-snow celebration, and vertical challenge (optional) at Whitefish Mountain Resort, in support of DREAM Adaptive Recreation!   DREAM is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Whitefish, Montana with a mission to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing year-round outdoor adaptive recreation programs.  DREAM serves individuals ages 5 to adults, including Military Veterans through their empowering services.  In 2023, DREAM provided 1,527 lessons and opportunities to 329 unique individuals with disabilities.

Donations through the Shred-A-Thon event support year-round programs through initiatives such as purchasing and maintaining adaptive sports equipment, providing instructor training & certification opportunities, and providing subsidized rates and financial aid scholarships to ensure everyone has access to our programming.
